Avatar design for a paid commision/contest of =philippines


Concept:

- Why i use Philippine Eagle as my design?:
Philippines' monkey-eating eagle, Pithecorphaga Jefferyi, and is the second largest eagle in the world next to the American Harpy Eagle - standing at over 3 feet (1m) tall and easily weighing up to 17 pounds (7.7kg).

The Philippine Eagle is a ferocious-looking bird with bluish eyes, a large, sharp, curved beak and a warlike headdress of spiky feathers giving it a striking appearance.

It is the most distinctive, most impressive, super-rare and hard-to-find species of the accipitridae (of hawks, eagles and kites) family .

Plus I was born in a place in Davao near Philippine Eagle Sanctuary(Calinan). Actually not that near. Its a 8min. ride . First time i went there is when my grandparents(father side) had their reunion with their children. had a blast and its actually my first time to see and eagle with a height of 4'1..this eagle was huge. and i was like 8yrs old i think...anyway thats my story..


I also use,as color for the avatar, of our Philippine Flag.
had problem on background color. tried using white but came out not good.
